Another Birthday, Another Memory

Sorry we've been a little slack lately, but what better way to return than with a few memories of another beautiful (early) birthday!

I was very spoilt this birthday with flowers, chocolates, makeup and little things here and there with even more to come! But most of all my beautiful 4 month old nephew came bearing plenty of smiles and cuddles! And of course this calls for another occasion to dress up! And with August feeling like the good old hot summer days, I thought I may as well show off a little skin and say Adios to winter!

Birthday bash

So it was my birthday on the 10th of June and part of me is still celebrating. My sweet sixteen was all highs and no lows I seriously had the best day/week imaginable. My beautiful friends bought me Tiffany and Mimco, obviously rocking along with my princess tiara. Thanks to all my beautiful girls you definitely made it one to remember.

I cannot express how much I am craving the hot sunshine and white sandy beaches right now. If only I could travel back in time to where this photo was taken (maybe minus the flu) and just soak it all up, knowing winter was just around the corner.

Nobody Puts Baby In A Corner... Or Bad Clothes

My beautiful nephew Felix was finally born this week meaning (yes that's right) baby shopping! And as a proud auntie I believe that he deserves only the best and oh yes that does include Seed (however my bank account isn't as thrilled as I am)... After being spoiled for choice I ended up getting him this cute little fox onesie. Felix the Fox! So this is me still in baby heaven, loving this new addition to the family and telling just about everyone about him, over and over again.

Picked up these gorgeous boots today and if they weren't already sweet enough, the fact that they were a present really was the cherry-on-top! Woke up to a number of "I'm Pregnant" texts this morning, nothing better to introduce April as the new month. So excited to start bringing out fur, denim and leather. Nothing beats an amazing winter wardrobe.

I still can't actually get over the fact that I own these i am so in love! Ever since they arrived in that huge, white Nasty Gal box we've practically been inseparable. They get no points for comfort though, but who cares when they look as good as this! - Meg

Boho Bali

Just bought this new dress from Mink Pink at a little store in Paddington and absolutely love it! My bank account doesn't though... And that little holiday away in Bali is getting further and further away! But at least now I have a new dress to wear there right? Every collection brought out still continues to give me that thrilling tingle up my spine that some may experience from a gorgeous boy they just met. And ladies, please reiterate to your boyfriends that you can in fact NEVER have too many bags! As quoted from Doug in The Devil Wears Prada, 'Fashion is not about utility. An accessory is merely a piece of iconography used to express individual identity.' I think he just took the words out of my mouth?! So when thinking about how to really sum up yourself when going out in that timeless little black dress, just think Mimco and I'm sure you'll be heading in the right direction..

Semi Formal, Not Semi Fabulous!

So, we recently had our Semi Formal for school and I decided to wear a number by Zimmerman called the Cabana Strapless in the colour Fire. I paired it with matching orange Mimco heels and aqua accessories to really pop the vibrant orange colour. I felt that this outfit gave a really classy yet simple look and with a simple hairstyle, neutral makeup and an (almost too dark) tan, the look was finally complete! So that's all from me tonight, but I hope that you all agree on this outfit choice and maybe it will inspire someone else for a formal night out!
